Ambassador Of India To Slovakia Inaugurates Planet Ayurveda Panchakarma Centre In Europe

Planet Ayurveda has achieved a major milestone in its global expansion with the inauguration of its new Panchakarma Centre at Demänová Resort, Slovakia. The centre has been established in collaboration with Planet Ayurveda India.

Her Excellency Apoorva Srivastava, Ambassador of India to Slovakia, graced the inauguration. She was joined by dignitaries, Ayurveda practitioners, and wellness enthusiasts from across Europe.

The launch, however, marks a significant step forward in the global promotion of Ayurveda as a natural, preventive, and holistic system of health and wellness.

The new centre will offer authentic Panchakarma therapies and Ayurvedic consultations. Additionally, it will provide personalised lifestyle programmes conducted in accordance with traditional Ayurvedic principles.

Its vision is to create a space for rejuvenation and healing while serving as a bridge between ancient Indian wisdom and European wellness traditions.

In her address, Ambassador Apoorva Srivastava commended the initiative. She highlighted the global relevance of Ayurveda as a sustainable approach to health.

She praised Planet Ayurveda’s efforts in promoting India’s traditional system of medicine. Moreover, she highlighted its role in strengthening cultural ties between India and Slovakia through wellness and education.

Dr Vikram Chauhan, Founder of Planet Ayurveda, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Ambassador and the guests for their support. He further highlighted the centre’s mission to provide authentic Ayurvedic therapies under expert supervision and announced the establishment of a School of Ayurveda in Slovakia.

The school, however, aims to foster academic and practical collaboration among Ayurvedic institutes, scholars, and practitioners across Europe.

Dr Chauhan has been promoting Ayurveda for over two decades in India and abroad. He shared his vision of making authentic Ayurvedic healing accessible worldwide through wellness centres, education, and research.

Miro Maduda, Founder of PEACE (Professional European Ayurveda Centre for Excellence), described the inauguration as the fulfilment of a long-cherished dream.

In addition, he emphasised the importance of Panchakarma in restoring physical and mental balance. Furthermore, he expressed his appreciation to Planet Ayurveda and Dr Chauhan for their dedication to bringing authentic Ayurveda to Central Europe.

The event also honoured Miroslav Špaček, who began his collaboration with Planet Ayurveda India nearly 15 years ago.

Over the years, he has organised numerous Ayurveda educational programmes, seminars, and workshops across Europe. His efforts have greatly contributed to spreading Ayurvedic awareness and understanding throughout the continent.

A key supporter of the project, Martin, is a Slovak entrepreneur with successful ventures in hospitality, travel and tourism, timber, real estate, and clean energy. In addition, he was acknowledged for his vital role in helping establish the Planet Ayurveda Panchakarma Centre in Slovakia.

His vision and dedication have helped integrate Indian wellness traditions into the European hospitality sector.

The inauguration ceremony commenced with a traditional Havan (Yajna) performed by:

• Prof Anurag Pandey, MD (Ayurveda) from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, and
• Dr Bhairav Kulkarni, MD, PhD, from Dr Vedprakash Patil Ayurvedic Medical College, Jalna, India

The sacred ritual invoked blessings for peace, harmony, and success.

Set amidst the scenic surroundings of Demänová Resort, the new Planet Ayurveda Panchakarma Centre aspires to become a European hub for authentic Ayurvedic healing. Moreover, it aims to create a space where nature, science, and spirituality converge to promote holistic well-being.
