An 8-year-old boy from Alabama, United States allegedly stole a car at gunpoint. Not only this, he was actually chased by police officers. After the chase, the police officers finally arrested him in car theft case. As per the reports, this incident happened in Montgomery on Tuesday, July 11. The investigation of the case started when the police authorities received a complaint about a robbery in the southeast area of the city.
Police authorities got a shocking breakthrough into the case when they got to know that a child had executed the robbery. Not only this, he did the same while keeping the complainant at gunpoint. After the eight-year-old’s car collided with another car, the chase for him came to an end. However, there were no injuries that happened because of the collision. A gun was also discovered at the site, the police officer added. The young youngster was eventually apprehended and charged with first-degree robbery, evading arrest, and illegally possessing a handgun. The Montgomery County Youth Detention Facility was the next stop for him.

The was a witness to the incident named Snake, he expressed his strong determination to get the boy arrested. He said, “When I realized it was a little boy, I knew I had to follow them and make sure no one got hit and that he got caught, because don’t want him driving all over Montgomery, causing more accidents or hurting himself or hurting other people.”
The witness further claimed that the boy also picked up two adults on Norman Bridge Road. “I think parents just really need to know where their kids are, what their kids are doing, and just talk to them about these kinds of things,” he said.
