Anirudh Nayak, a Gujarat native living in Canada, has gained viral fame for transforming ordinary Uber rides into full-fledged party experiences.
While working as an automotive engineer during the day, Nayak switches gears on weekends to run his unique service, which he proudly calls ‘Mini Coachella on Wheels’.
Instead of offering the usual quiet trips, Nayak turns his car into a moving nightclub. His vehicle glows with colourful lights, passengers wave LED wands or glow sticks, and music thumps through the speakers. What began as a lighthearted experiment quickly captured attention online.
On Instagram, where he goes by @disco_rides, Nayak has already amassed over 1.58 lakh followers. His clips often show strangers bonding like party buddies during the ride. One video, in which he handed glittery goggles to passengers, crossed 27 million views and filled the comments section with praise and laughter.
While fans love his concept, many have jokingly urged him to refresh his playlist, as Jennifer Lopez’s hit ‘On the Floor’ frequently dominates his rides.
Followers now flood him with suggestions for Bollywood tracks and Indian party hits. Despite the repetition, Nayak keeps the energy alive with themes such as Date Night, Weekend Vibes, and Dance Party.
The comments on his posts mirror the energy of his rides.
One admirer described the service as “Uber with Indian tadka.” Another joked, “This is so cool, but the only problem, sir, is it would be veryyyy hard to get me out of the car.”
Some even claimed his unique vibe could rival clubs, with one fan writing, “Amazing strategy!!! The girls will tip him big time; they won’t go to the club anymore.”
Another user summed it up best: “I would pay him extra just to drive me around.”
