‘Give Wings To Her Dreams’: Prof (Dr) Rachana Highlights Family Support For Women At Miss And Mrs United Nations 2026

Prof (Dr) Rachana represented Bharat Express News Network Chairman, Managing Director (CMD) and Editor-in-Chief Upendrra Rai at the Miss and Mrs United Nations 2026 international beauty pageant held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rohini, Delhi.

Parisa Communication Private Limited organised the five-day event to raise awareness about cancer and provide women with a platform to showcase their confidence, talent and achievements. Bharat Express served as the media partner.

The organisers had invited CMD Upendrra Rai as the chief guest and planned to honour him during the event. Prof (Dr) Rachana accepted the honour on his behalf, representing the news network at the international gathering.

Addressing the importance of women’s empowerment, Prof (Dr) Rachana highlighted the role of families and life partners in helping women pursue their ambitions.

“Behind every woman who comes onto this stage with confidence and dignity, there is, in some way, the strong support of her life partner and family. Every man should therefore instil these values and lessons at home, ensuring that he fully participates in helping his female partner move forward, giving wings to her dreams and strengthening her confidence. Women can progress only when society and families come together to support them,” she said.

Prof (Dr) Rachana’s message underscored the importance of collective social and family support in enabling women to achieve their goals.
