Delhi-NCR Weather Today: Rain, Thunderstorms Likely Across Delhi, Noida And Gurugram

On Thursday, Delhi-NCR will likely see mostly cloudy conditions with intermittent rain and thunderstorms on Thursday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The weather may remain relatively moderate, though sudden showers, lightning and changes in rainfall intensity are possible during the day.

Rainfall in several parts of Delhi on Wednesday evening offered temporary relief from humid conditions and brought down temperatures.

The IMD expects another round of light to moderate rain and thunderstorms across different parts of the capital on Thursday.

Delhi could receive another spell of rain from afternoon to evening, while isolated areas may record heavy showers at night.

The maximum temperature will likely remain around 32 degrees Celsius, with the minimum settling near 26 degrees Celsius.

Noida will likely remain under cloudy skies, with light to moderate showers and thunderstorms likely in the morning. Very light to light rain could return during the afternoon and evening.

Gurugram may experience similar conditions, with persistent cloud cover and intermittent rain and thunderstorms. The IMD has, however, issued a heavy-rain warning for Haryana for Thursday.

Ghaziabad will likely remain cloudy with occasional showers and thunderstorms, while high humidity could continue to cause discomfort. Faridabad may see cloudy weather followed by afternoon rain, with thunderstorms possible.

Several parts of Delhi recorded light to very light rainfall in the 24 hours leading up to Thursday. Some locations received moderate showers with thunder and lightning, contributing to a fall of around 1-2 degrees Celsius in minimum temperatures and 3-5 degrees Celsius in maximum temperatures.
