Delhi-NCR Weather: Cloudy Skies, Light Rain And Thunderstorms Forecast For Thursday

Delhi-NCR is likely to remain generally cloudy on Thursday, with the India Meteorological Department forecasting very light to light rain during the morning and forenoon.

Temperatures may range between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius during the day and 25 to 27 degrees Celsius overnight.

Delhi, Noida, Gurugram and Ghaziabad could experience similar conditions, with intermittent cloud cover and occasional showers.

The IMD warned that some areas may receive thunderstorms and lightning. Wet roads could disrupt traffic, prompting commuters to travel cautiously.

Delhi received light to moderate rain across most areas on Wednesday.

Isolated locations recorded moderate to heavy showers, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.

Pusa recorded 51.1 mm, Pitampura 64.5 mm and Mayur Vihar 12 mm.

Noida may see partly cloudy to sunny conditions, with a morning thunderstorm possible.

High humidity could increase discomfort. Monsoon activity is expected to remain active across Uttar Pradesh.

Gurugram is likely to stay cloudy, with intermittent sunshine and isolated morning thunderstorms. The maximum temperature may reach 34 degrees Celsius.

Faridabad could experience partly cloudy skies, a morning thunderstorm and later sunny intervals.

Temperatures may reach 32 degrees Celsius, while the minimum could remain around 25 degrees Celsius.

New Delhi’s air quality remained in the very poor category.

Anand Vihar recorded the highest listed reading at 329, followed by Bawana at 207 and Wazirpur at 179. Other readings included Jahangirpuri 159, Rohini 143, Mundka 132, Chandni Chowk 133, IIT Delhi 133, Punjabi Bagh 135, Okhla Phase-2 108, Narela 105, Burari Crossing 102, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium 99, Commonwealth Sports Complex 98, Sri Aurobindo Marg 95, Pusa 91, NSIT Dwarka 86, Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range 83, Shadipur 70 and Cantonment Area 34.
