Xiaomi has broadened its tablet lineup in India with the introduction of the Xiaomi Pad 8. The newly launched device follows previous models in the series, including the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 7 range.

With this release, the company aims to cater to users who depend on Android tablets for productivity, entertainment and everyday digital activities.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 is available in multiple configurations in the Indian market. The base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is priced at Rs 33,999. Meanwhile, the model offering 12GB RAM and 256GB storage carries a price tag of Rs 36,999.

Xiaomi has also introduced a version featuring a nanotexture display priced at Rs 38,999. This specialised display is designed to minimise glare and reflections, which can improve the experience while reading, writing or sketching for extended periods.

The company is offering bundle packages that include a stylus pen for users who prefer writing or drawing on the tablet. The standard bundle with the stylus is priced at Rs 41,999.

Meanwhile, the nanotexture display variant bundled with the stylus costs Rs 43,999.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 will be available for purchase in India starting March 17 through the company’s official website, Amazon India and selected offline retail outlets.

Display and Performance

The tablet features an 11.2-inch display with a 3.2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen supports DC dimming along with TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification to reduce strain during prolonged usage.

Xiaomi states that the display is suitable for various tasks such as streaming content, gaming, note-taking and document work.

Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, representing an upgrade over the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset used in the earlier Xiaomi Pad 7.
