Vivo has expanded its Y600 lineup in China with the launch of the Y600k Turbo, a mid-range smartphone featuring a 9,020mAh battery, 90W fast charging and IP68 and IP69 ratings for protection against dust and water.
The smartphone is available in two configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. Its starting price is CNY 2,799, roughly Rs 40,000. It comes in Electric Blue, Dune Gold and Millennial Park colour options.
Vivo has not yet confirmed plans for an international launch.
The Y600k Turbo features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 2800 x 1260-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The panel can reach a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, which is designed to improve visibility in bright outdoor conditions.
Powering the phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
The large 9,020mAh battery is one of its key features and supports 90W wired charging through a USB Type-C port.
The phone runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and an IR blaster.
For photography, the Y600k Turbo has a dual rear camera system comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. An 8MP front camera is provided for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone supports 4K video recording, adding to its camera capabilities.
