South Korean electronics brand Samsung on Saturday revealed that its latest seventh-generation foldable smartphone series received 2.1 lakh pre-orders within 48 hours of its launch.
Last week, on July 9, Samsung launched its Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy Z Fold7, and Galaxy Z Flip7 FE smartphones.
The Brand mentioned that this huge number of pre-orders indicates ‘huge consumer demand and excitement for the brand’s seventh generation of foldable’.
In an official statement, Samsung Electronics said, “It is nearly equalling the pre-orders received for the Galaxy S25 series earlier this year.”
Earlier this year, Samsung received nearly 4.3 lakh pre-orders for its smartphone Galaxy S25 in just three weeks.
The foldable smartphone series is priced between Rs 89,000 and Rs 2.11 lakh.
Galaxy Z Fold7
Galaxy Z Fold7 features a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and comes with a 4.47GHz, 3.5GHz Octa-Core processor. It has a 20.31 cm full-rectangle display with a resolution of 2184 x 1968 (QXGA+) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It has a rear camera of 200.0 MP + 12.0 MP + 10.0 MP with Optical Zoom 3x and Digital Zoom up to 30x.
Fold 7 comes with a 4400mAh battery with playback time up to 24 hours. It comes in four colour variants such as Mint, Jetblack, Silver Shadow and Blue Shadow.
Galaxy Z Flip7
Galaxy Z Fold7 features a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and comes with a 4.47GHz, 3.5GHz Octa-Core processor. It has a 17.41 cm full-rectangle display with a resolution of 2520 x 1080 (FHD+).
6.7-inch foldable Dynamic AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate, 4.1-inch cover screen. It has a 50.0 MP + 12.0 MP rear camera and a 10.0 MP front camera.
Fold 7 comes with a 4300 mAh battery with playback time up to 31 hours. It comes in four colour variants such as Coralred, Jetblack, and Blue Shadow.
