Samsung has officially confirmed the launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge, its highly anticipated ultra-slim smartphone.
The tech giant will unveil the device on Tuesday, 13 May, during a global event streamed live from South Korea at 9:00 AM KST (5:30 AM IST).
The Galaxy S25 Edge, part of Samsung’s flagship S25 lineup, marks the beginning of what the company calls the ‘Slim Era’, having teased the design at several events in recent months.
Samsung will host a virtual launch event, which fans can watch live on the official Samsung YouTube channel.
Expectations are high as this will be the first time the company reveals the complete specifications and features of the Galaxy S25 Edge.
Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a powerful 200MP primary sensor, complemented by a 12MP ultra-wide camera, forming a dual-camera setup.

The phone is likely to include a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, delivering high-end visual performance.
However, the most striking aspect of the device remains its design.
Samsung has made the Galaxy S25 Edge the slimmest Galaxy phone ever, weighing just 162 grams and measuring only 5.84mm in thickness.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the S25 Edge promises flagship-level performance.
Yet, to preserve its slim frame, Samsung has opted for a 3,900 mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
While this ensures a lightweight profile, it may raise concerns over battery longevity.
As with other models in the S25 series, the device is expected to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is positioned between the S25+ and the premium S25 Ultra in Samsung’s 2025 lineup.
According to a listing on European e-commerce platform Zenetti Shop, the device may start at EUR 1,361 (approximately ₹1,27,900) for the 256GB variant.
However, industry insiders expect Samsung to price the Galaxy S25 Edge around ₹1,10,000 in India, striking a balance between competitive value and premium appeal in the flagship segment.
With less than a week to go, the Galaxy S25 Edge has generated significant buzz, thanks to its bold design and powerful camera features.
All eyes are now on Samsung to deliver a device that not only looks the part but performs exceptionally in a highly competitive market.
