Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8: Expected Price, Launch Date, Specs And Features

Samsung will likely unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 8 at its next Galaxy Unpacked event, reportedly scheduled for 22 July 2026, although the company has yet to officially confirm the launch date.

The foldable flagship will likely arrive in India by late July or early August, with leaks suggesting a starting price of around Rs 1,80,000. If accurate, that would place it slightly above the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which debuted at Rs 1,74,999.

Reports indicate that Samsung could offer the Galaxy Z Fold 8 in three storage variants, including base, mid-range and top-end models. Pricing will likely vary depending on the configuration.

As with previous launches, buyers may also receive introductory bank offers, exchange bonuses and e-commerce discounts.

Samsung may also equip the device with a larger 5,000mAh battery. The company will likely support 45W fast charging to deliver better battery life and quicker charging speeds.

The biggest camera upgrade could come with the ultrawide sensor, which will likely jump from 12MP to 50MP. Reports also suggest support for 3x optical zoom, while the front-facing selfie camera is likely to remain unchanged.
