QQ Music has become the first major music streaming platform to adopt Dolby AC-4, marking a significant step in delivering premium, immersive audio experiences at scale.
Through ongoing improvements to Dolby Atmos, now supported by Dolby AC-4, the platform elevates fidelity and precision while preserving the artist’s intent better than ever.
Music on QQ Music remains vivid, dimensional, and emotionally engaging, bringing listeners closer to the artistry behind every recording.
The key advancements include exceptional fidelity, faithfully reproducing vocals, instruments, and spatial elements as intended by the artist, and delivering a richer, more natural headphone experience with clear placement of every sound element.
Javier Foncillas, Vice President, Commercial Partnerships and Global Sales at Dolby Laboratories, said, “As streaming becomes the primary medium for music consumption, audio quality is more critical than ever. Our collaboration with QQ Music to introduce Dolby AC-4 brings a new level of clarity and fidelity, empowering artists and labels to realise their creative vision.”
Alan Zhou, Vice President of Technology at QQ Music & Kuwo Music, TME, added, “QQ Music has always embraced innovation to enhance the user experience. With Dolby AC-4, we now offer unprecedented fidelity and detail, setting a new benchmark for immersive music streaming.”
