Is Your Galaxy A54 Getting One UI 8.5? Samsung Has Started The Rollout

Samsung has continued expanding the availability of One UI 8.5, the latest version of its Android-based user interface, by bringing the update to the Galaxy A54.

The software first debuted earlier this year with the Galaxy S26 series and has gradually reached a growing number of Samsung devices following an extensive beta testing programme.

The company began testing One UI 8.5 on older smartphones earlier this year and concluded the beta phase in May.

Since then, Samsung has accelerated the rollout across its smartphone portfolio, delivering the update to several eligible models.

The latest device to receive the software is the Galaxy A54, one of Samsung’s most popular mid-range smartphones.

The rollout has currently started only in South Korea, where the handset is marketed as the Galaxy Quantum 4.

Although Samsung sells the device as the Galaxy Quantum 4 in South Korea, it shares the same hardware as the Galaxy A54.

The company has released the update under firmware version A546SKSUGFZE2.

Samsung usually launches major updates in its home market first before expanding them globally. If the Korean rollout remains stable, Galaxy A54 users in other regions could receive One UI 8.5 within the next week.

The update reflects Samsung’s continued commitment to supporting older devices with the latest software features and improvements.

By extending One UI 8.5 to the Galaxy A54, the company reinforces its focus on long-term software support and delivering a consistent user experience across its smartphone lineup.
