Renowned Apple tipster ‘Majin Buu Official’ has revealed fresh insights into what could be a major aesthetic update for the iPhone 17 Pro.
Writing on his website, the leaker claims that the device may launch in an array of colours, including black, silver, dark blue, and a bold new orange, a palette that may set the Pro series apart from previous generations.
According to the leak, the striking Orange shade may take inspiration from the action button seen on the Apple Watch Ultra.
Apple describes the Dark Blue option as a ‘nocturnal hue’, drawing inspiration from the Blue Titanium of the iPhone 15 Pro, but deepening the tone to appear nearly black in certain lighting.
Apple is expected to retain its premium titanium aesthetic in the Black and Silver variants, echoing previous Pro models.
In what could be a notable shift in Apple’s design philosophy, the report also hints at the possibility of a reimagined camera module.
The rear camera island could extend slightly to the right-hand side, adding asymmetry to the Pro’s design for the first time in years.
Additionally, Apple may choose to use aluminium for the frame, a departure from the titanium used in its immediate predecessors.
If true, these changes signal Apple’s intention to differentiate the Pro lineup with a distinct visual identity and material finish.
Alongside iPhone 17 Pro rumours, Majin Buu has also shared early details about the so-called iPhone 17 Air, a potentially new addition to Apple’s smartphone range.
The tipster suggests that this device may be available in minimalist tones such as light blue, black, silver, and a subtle shade of gold, possibly aiming at a lighter, more stylish appeal.
Though Apple has not officially confirmed any of these developments, they reflect growing industry speculation around the company’s design direction.
With Apple’s traditional September launch window only weeks away, speculation around the iPhone 17 series continues to grow.
If even some of these rumours hold, the iPhone 17 Pro may offer one of the most visually distinct upgrades in recent memory.
