From 144Hz Display To 90W Charging: Everything About Motorola Edge 70 Pro+

Motorola has officially launched the Edge 70 Pro+ in India, bringing a premium smartphone packed with flagship-level features, advanced camera technology and artificial intelligence capabilities.

The device is essentially a rebranded version of the global Edge 70 Pro and arrives with a powerful specification sheet aimed at users seeking high-end performance and photography features.

Motorola offers the Edge 70 Pro+ in three Pantone-inspired colours — Chicory Coffee, Zinfandel and Stormy Sea.

The smartphone features a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 7i protection and up to 5,200 nits peak brightness.

The company, however, powers the device with the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage, delivering smooth performance for gaming, multitasking and everyday use.

Photography is one of the phone’s key highlights. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor based on Sony’s LYTIA-710 technology, featuring optical image stabilisation and an f/1.8 aperture.

Motorola has also equipped the device with a 50MP telephoto camera offering 3.5x optical zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, users get a 50MP selfie camera housed within a punch-hole cut-out.

The Edge 70 Pro+ houses a large 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery supporting 90W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

The smartphone runs Hello UI based on Android 16 with Moto AI 2.0 features.

Motorola promises three Android upgrades and five years of security updates, while IP68 and IP69 ratings provide water and dust resistance.

Priced at ₹47,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant, the Edge 70 Pro+ will further go on sale in India from June 11.
