Apple’s iPhone 18 series will likely introduce some of the company’s most significant hardware upgrades in recent years, according to industry reports.
While the overall design is likely to remain familiar, Apple is reportedly focusing on improving performance, battery life, camera capabilities and artificial intelligence features.
One of the most talked-about changes is a refreshed colour lineup.
Rumours suggest Apple could introduce a new Dark Cherry finish as the flagship colour, alongside Light Blue, Dark Grey and Silver options for the Pro models.
The iPhone 18 Pro will likely retain its 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max could continue with a 6.9-inch screen.
Reports also suggest Apple may reduce the size of the Dynamic Island by up to 35 per cent and adopt upgraded LTPO+ display technology for improved efficiency.
Under the hood, the Pro models are likely to feature Apple’s next-generation A20 Pro chip, reportedly built on a 2nm process.
The new chipset will likely deliver faster performance, improved power efficiency and enhanced AI capabilities.
Battery life could also see a notable improvement.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max is to feature a 5,500mAh battery, potentially the largest ever in an iPhone.
Apple may also introduce manual aperture control for the primary camera, giving users greater control over photography.
Industry analysts expect the iPhone 18 Pro to start at around Rs 1,39,900 in India, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max could be priced from approximately Rs 1,54,900.
Apple has not confirmed the specifications, colours or pricing, and the reported details remain based on leaks and industry expectations.
