Krafton India has officially confirmed the launch of BGMI Lite, putting an end to ongoing speculation about the lighter version of Battlegrounds Mobile India.

The company has announced plans to launch the game in India by the end of 2026.

BGMI Lite aims to offer a more accessible version of the popular battle royale title, allowing players with less powerful smartphones to enjoy the BGMI experience.

The announcement has generated significant interest among Indian gaming enthusiasts who have been waiting for a lighter version of the game.

Krafton has not yet revealed the exact launch date.

The company has kept details about the game’s download size, minimum RAM, processor requirements and other technical specifications under wraps.
