European Union delegates warned that AI-produced content has reduced critical reasoning by nearly 30 per cent.

The National Council of Educational Research and Training has issued usage guidelines, yet enforcement remains limited.

Many pupils now master prompt engineering rather than problem-solving.

Creative disciplines face similar strain. Image generators such as Midjourney and DALL·E produce polished artwork within seconds.

Artists argue that such output lacks emotional depth. In cinema, algorithmic scriptwriting risks repeating established patterns.

Studies suggest AI-assisted stories display 40 per cent less originality. Precision, once admirable, now diminishes the value of human trial and error.

Ethical dilemmas intensify concerns. Deepfake technology has disrupted electoral discourse, including during the 2024 United States elections.

Addressing the summit, Narendra Modi emphasised responsible AI governance. He advocated safeguards and transparency but acknowledged limited debate on curbing dependency.

The domestic sphere reveals subtle change. Children order essentials online without negotiating in markets. Traditional learning experiences fade.

Solutions demand balance. Schools must introduce AI-free sessions.

India should strengthen transparency laws, akin to Europe’s GDPR.

Authorities must launch AI literacy campaigns and support non-AI artistic initiatives. Citizens should practise digital restraint.

AI must remain a tool, not a master. Creativity defines humanity. Preserving it remains a collective obligation.
