Apple To Launch Fourth India Retail Store In Pune On 4 September

Tech giant Apple has announced the opening of its fourth retail store in India, set to launch in Pune on September 4. Named Apple Koregaon Park, the store marks another major milestone in the company’s expansion within the country.

Apple Koregaon Park will be the first Apple retail outlet in Pune and the fourth overall in India. The announcement follows closely on the heels of Apple’s reveal of its Bengaluru store, Apple Hebbal, which opens two days earlier on September 2.

“This opening offers customers in Pune new ways to explore and buy Apple products, and experience Apple’s exceptional service in person,” the company said in a statement.

The store’s exterior barricade features vibrant artwork inspired by the peacock, India’s national bird, symbolising pride and celebration of Apple’s growth in the country.

At both new locations, customers can experience the latest Apple products and receive expert guidance from trained team members, including Specialists, Creatives, Geniuses, and Business consultants.

Free Learning Sessions & Digital Perks

The stores will also host Today at Apple sessions, free events aimed at inspiring and educating customers in photography, music, art, and coding. These sessions are led by Apple Creatives and help users get the most out of their Apple devices.

Apple has also introduced enhanced digital services like Shop with a Specialist over Video and an upgraded Apple Store app to offer more personalised and secure experiences.

The company encourages customers to download exclusive wallpapers, enjoy a specially curated Apple Music playlist inspired by the sounds of Pune, and explore the store’s features ahead of the Pune store opening.

Apple is simultaneously scaling up its manufacturing operations in India. For the first time, Apple will assemble all models of the upcoming iPhone 17 series, including the Pro versions, in India.

Sources reveal that Apple is splitting production across five local factories, two of which have only recently begun operations. However, Apple is expected to produce fewer units of the high-end models.

This move further cements Apple’s growing commitment to the Indian market, both as a retail and manufacturing hub.
