Yogi Adityanath Congratulates Indian Hockey Team On Clinching Asiad Gold

The Indian Men’s Hockey Team displaying an awesome hockey not only clinched the Gold Medal in the ongoing Asian Games but were also secured a direct entry in the Paris Olympics scheduled to be held next year. In the Grand Finale, the team walloped Japan 5 – 1.

This development made Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extremely happy and he took on his twitter handle to congratulate each and every member of the squad.

“Heartiest congratulations to the Indian team for its golden victory in the men’s hockey competition in the Asian Games. We are proud of all of you. Congratulations to every member of the Indian hockey team who achieved a historic victory through excellent teamwork, inexhaustible dedication and unwavering hard work… Jai Ho.” – This is what he wrote on twitter.

Indian hockey has a golden history. If we go down in history we will be finding the days when the great Dhyan Chand used to represent the nation and with his magical stickwork he single handedly won gold medal for the nation in the Olympics.

Later, due to some political influences, the team derailed a bit and now it appears that the team is back on track. Now the momentum needs to be going.
