In the ‘Guidance note for Indian players’ sent to Indian players, BCCI has asked both capped and uncapped cricketers to register online to be entered in the player auction register. Please tell that its last date has been kept on January 26 at 5 pm.
It is being told that the women’s IPL auction 2023 is likely to be held on February 11. The opening season of the Women’s IPL will be played from the beginning of March till the end of the same month and its venue could be Maharashtra. It is believed that Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings are more interested in taking the owner team in the competition.

The category of prize money in the women’s IPL auction is divided into 3 parts. This includes 50, 40 and 30 lakh rupees. As per the current IPL protocol, 5 franchises will be shortlisted in the auction register. This is so that the auction list can be prepared, which will later be offered for bidding. Also, let us tell you that the players who will not be able to bid in the auction, but will be present in the ‘Registered Available Players Pool’, can be selected as replacements.
