Women India Vs Women Australia : With First match of T20I series, here is the full schedule

Australia Women tour of India: Now it’s the women time. Team India Women is going to encounter the Team Australia Women in their first face-off  tonight. Here is the complete schedule of the series with date time and venues.

Australia Women tour of India: The first match of the 5-match T20 series between Team India and Australia will be played at DY Patil Stadium on 9 December. This series will go on by 20 December 2022.

India vs Australia T20I: The Harmanpreet Kaur-led team won the Women’s Asia Cup 2022 in Bangladesh defeating the Sri Lankan team by 8 wickets in the final. Following the Asia Cup, now the Indian women’s cricket team will face the Australian women’s cricket team in the first match of the five-match T20 international series at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Friday (December 9). Star batsman Shafali Verma is definitely a part of the team for the first few matches. But after that she will captain the India U19 team for the opening season of the Women’s U19 T20 World Cup in South Africa.

On the other hand, Australian squad led by Meg Lanning won the gold medal by defeating India in the Commonwealth Games 2022 held in Birmingham. Team India will have this big chance to settle their old scores with them. Significantly, this will be the first time when both the teams will enter this series with the new coach. Recently, the responsibility of batting coach in Team India has been given to Rishikesh Kanitkar.

Indian team squad will include Harmanpreet Kaur (Captain), Smriti Mandhana (Vice Captain), Shefali Verma, Jemima Rodrigues, Yastika Bhatia, Deepti Sharma, Radha Yadav, Rajeshwari Gaikwad, Renuka Singh Thakur, Meghna Singh, Anjali Saravani, Devika Vaidya, S Meghna, Richa Ghosh and Harleen Deol.

On the other hand, the Australian team squad will be having Alyssa Healy (c), Tahlia McGrath (vc), D’Arcy Brown, Ashley Gardner, Nicola Carey, Heather Graham, Grace Harris, Kim Garth, Jess Jonassen, Alana King, Phoebe Litchfield, Beth Mooney, Alyssa Perry, Meg Shutt, Annabel Sutherland

The matches of the series can be watched on Star Sports network in India. The matches will start at 7 pm in accordance with Indian time.
