“SKY IS MY DAD”: Cameron Greens’ Old Video Goes Viral After a Powerfull Preformance By SuryaKumar Yadav Against Australia

Suryakumar Yadav’s destructive knocking performance led India to a massive total of 399/5 against Australia in the second ODI match at Holkar Stadium in Indore on September 24 after opener Shubman Gill and first down Shreyas Iyer gave the side the ideal start.

Suryakumar Yadav, also known as SKY, was at his best while striking an impressive 72 in just 37 balls with a strike rate of 194.59. He did this by hitting six sixes and six fours.

SKY was particularly fond of his Mumbai Indians teammate Cameron Green, who concluded with scores of 2/103 in 10 overs when facing Australian bowlers in complete control. Sky even hit four sixes off his bowling in the first four deliveries.

Following the stunning stroke by SKY, a vintage video of Suryakumar and Green from their Indian Premier League (IPL) days has gone viral on social media. In the video, Green can be heard jokingly telling the Indian hitter, “If you’re bad, SKY is my dad,” which caused the batter to split.

Australia, who had won the toss, opted to bowl first. It did not, however, work in its favor. Despite losing Rituraj Gaikwad to Josh Hazlewood in the fourth over, India’s Gill and Iyer pushed their team’s total to 200 runs in just 30 overs.

Power packed performance by Team India

Iyer also hit a century (105 off 90 balls), while Gill added to his incredible run with a century (104 off 97 balls).
Ishan Kishan (31 off 18 balls) and captain KL Rahil (52 off 38 balls) kept the momentum going after this. But SKY (72, not out of 37 balls) was the one who gave his fans the biggest feeling of adrenaline. India reached their highest-ever ODI total against Australia thanks to the 103 runs they let up in the final 10 overs.
Earlier this year, India ended with a match-winning 395 against New Zealand, beating the guests.
