After winning the CBSE East Zone Skating Competition in Lucknow, Nurture International School student Sarthak Panda has reached a new milestone. At the CBSE National Skating Competition held from October 23 to 26 at Good Shepherd Central School in Belgaum, Karnataka, Sarthak won gold in the 1-lap road race.
This victory secures Sarthak’s place in the upcoming School Games Federation of India (SGFI) competition.
First Kanpur Student to Reach SGFI in Skating
For the first time, a student from Kanpur has qualified for SGFI in skating. Sarthak’s coach, Mandeep Kumar, played a key role in his success. Under Mandeep’s supervision, Sarthak mastered the techniques and nuances of skating, according to close family members.

School officials, including Joint Secretary Sachin Chitranshi, Director Ritu Chitranshi, and Principal Parvinder Kaur, congratulated Sarthak and his coach on this achievement.
