The players, atop an open-air bus from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium, lifted the T20 World Cup trophy together, evoking emotional cheers from fans.

 

South Mumbai witnessed extensive traffic congestion as crowds flocked to Marine Drive for the Indian cricket team’s parade. Trains at Churchgate and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus were packed as people from across the city headed to witness the celebration.
