Red Bull Breaks F1 Record Set By Ayrton Senna And Alain Prost For McLaren In the Hungarian Grand Prix

Red Bull won the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday thanks in large part to Max Verstappen, who led Red Bull to their 12th straight victory. The incredible unbeaten record for Red Bull began in Abu Dhabi during the final Formula One race of 2022. Red Bull broke McLaren’s record of 11 straight F1 victories set by Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna back in 1988 with a mind-boggling 12 back-to-back triumphs to their name.

In Hungary, Max Verstappen was also successful in accomplishing a personal milestone. The 25-year-old is currently just the sixth driver in Formula One history to earn seven straight victories. The other four drivers on this distinguished list are Alberto Ascari, Nico Rosberg, Michael Schumacher, and Sebastian Vettel. “12 victories in a row is simply amazing for the team. Verstappen was reported by Sky Sports as stating, “What we’ve been through the last two years is fantastic and hopefully we can keep this momentum continuing for a long time. Nine out of the 11 races so far this season have been won by the Red Bull driver.

Red Bull posted a video to Twitter that elegantly summarised their 12 Formula One victories. Makers of history! 12 straight victories in Formula One. give you wings,” the caption stated.

In response to his victory, Max Verstappen tweeted, “Yes boys! Another incredible accomplishment for the Red Bull Racing team. We appreciate everyone’s dedication and hard work. It was the ideal day today. I appreciate Hungary’s support during the weekend.

Max Verstappen passed Lewis Hamilton at the Hungarian Grand Prix rather quickly. The Dutchman got the race off brilliantly, outpacing Hamilton in the first lap. Verstappen made an outstanding start from position two on the grid, and the title leader had no trouble taking the checkered flag.

In the end, Verstappen prevailed by more than 0.5 seconds. Despite earning the pole position, Hamilton finished in fourth place in Budapest and was unable to win his 104th race of his career. Lando Norris of McLaren outlasted Sergio Perez of Red Bull’s challenges to take second place.

Max Verstappen established a 110-point lead over Sergio Perez in the drivers’ standings thanks to his convincing victory in the Hungarian Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton is presently ranked fourth in the standings with 133 points. The third spot is occupied by Fernando Alonso.
