In a video that’s doing the rounds on social media, Dhoni can be seen hitting the golf ball in the direction of the hole as the former US President watches intently. Trump was sporting a red ‘MAGA’ cap as the 42-year-old posed for a photo with him while sporting long hair. Netizens were in wonderment when they watched Dhoni play the sport in the USA. The CSK captain’s “craze” and “fever” in the USA were much praised.

The defending champion Carlos Alcaraz’s victory over Alexander Zverev in the quarterfinals on Thursday was also witnessed by the former Indian captain. Dhoni was spotted sitting behind Alcaraz in the Arthur Ashe Stadium stands during one of the cooling-off intervals between the two tennis players’ two-and-a-half-hour match. In addition, this was not the first tennis match that the CSK captain had attended as a spectator. He also witnessed Carlos Alcaraz’s match versus Jannik Sinner at the US Open the previous year.
