With the growing craze for soccer in India, PM Modi expresses high hopes towards the sport’s brilliant future in the country with help of the global soccer star Chhetri.

Not everyone knows that Sunil Chhetri is one of the top soccor stars around the world who with his total international goals is on the third ladder on the global ranking.

PM Modi shared jubilation on Chhetri’s latest milestone. And this came to the fore with FIFA’s streaming platform’s release of a new three-part docuseries. The ‘Captain Fantastic’ is the award by FIFA in the form of the title of the series to the Indian soccor star Chhetri.

The Indian polity captain admires Indian soccer captain and his post on Twitter reads this:  “Well done Sunil Chhetri! This will certainly boost football’s popularity in India. @chetrisunil11″.
