Lionel Messi, one of the all-time best players in football, is currently en route to David Beckham’s Inter Miami CF after leading Argentina to the FIFA World Cup title late last year. Messi, who will officially be introduced as an Inter Miami player tomorrow, July 16, 2023, was recently photographed grocery shopping with his family in Miami. The celebrity’s outing, however, could have gone horribly wrong, as the Audi Q8 he was in nearly avoided a collision!
Leo Messi is allegedly driving (or being driven) a white Audi Q8 SUV while being followed by a Fort Lauderdale Police cruiser in a viral video that has been making the rounds on social media. The next clip demonstrates Messi’s Q8 turning left at an intersection when oncoming traffic is coming up behind it and jumping a traffic light! Fortunately, the drivers of the approaching vehicles were alert and avoided colliding with the footballer’s high-end SUV.
Regarding the Q8, the SUV is available with a 3-liter V6 turbocharged petrol engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that produces a maximum of 340 PS and a maximum torque of 500 Nm. The Audi Q8 now costs Rs 1.07 crore in India. On the other hand, the performance-focused RS Q8 comes with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 gasoline engine that produces 600 PS of power and 800 Nm of torque. The pricing of the RS Q8 is Rs 2.22 crore (both figures are ex-showroom).
