Bhuvneshwar, who started his IPL journey with RCB in 2009, returns to the franchise after a decade of playing for other teams. He has 181 wickets in 176 IPL matches, making him one of the league’s most reliable pacers.
Mumbai Indians bolstered their bowling arsenal with the purchase of Deepak Chahar for Rs 9.25 crore. MI outbid Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to add Chahar to their squad, joining Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult.

In the capped spinners’ category, MI purchased Afghanistan’s Allah Ghazanfar for Rs 4.80 crore. However, spinners like Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Adil Rashid, and Keshav Maharaj went unsold.
