IPL 2023: Rinku Singh Hits 5 Sixes In Final Over Of KKR’s Thriller Victory Over GT

In a thrilling IPL 2023 match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated Gujarat Titans thanks to five sixes from Rinku Singh in the final over. With 29 needed off the final over, Rinku attacked Yash Dayal with a string of five sixes. Even though Venkatesh Iyer scored 83 runs in 40 balls, his team was unable to cross the finish line. Rashid Khan scored three goals in one match to turn the tide in GT’s favor.

Rinku Singh, on the other hand, saved his best for the final over, as KKR snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. Earlier, Vijay Shankar and Sai Sudharsan hit the fifties to help Gujarat Titans beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 204/4 in an IPL 2023 match in Ahmedabad. After Sudarshan scored 53 off 38 balls to keep GT ticking in the middle over, Shankar hit an unbeaten 63 off 24 balls.

KKR’s score after 15 overs: 149-3

Rana-Venkatesh froze at the crease, and KKR scored after 11 overs: 99-2

KKR score after 5 overs: 37-2

Kolkata’s batting starts

Gujarat Titans set a win target of 205 runs for Kolkata Knight Riders. Gujarat relied heavily on Vijay Shankar (63 runs) and Sai Sudarshan (53 runs).
