The 15th Indian Premier League (IPL) season has officially begun. It appears that Swiggy is capitalizing on the enthusiasm that cricket fans are feeling during intense matches. Due to the “IPL Match” rush, an image of five Swiggy delivery executives in a lift is becoming viral online.

Shubh tweeted, “No. of Swiggy guys in the building is directly proportional to how interesting the IPL match is”, through his personal Twitter handle.

The image quickly gained popularity on social media. On Twitter, it has received over 8,000 views and a variety of responses so far.

A user wrote, “And how quickly one eats the meal is indirectly correlated with how fascinating the IPL match is”.

“This tweet reminded me it’s RCB vs MI today”, another person remarked.

“Only to Remind Zomato of its competition!”, the third user wrote.

In the meantime, Wednesday’s match 8 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at Guwahati features a super match between Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings. While RR and PBKS try to make it two victories in a row, the Barsapara Cricket Stadium will play host to an IPL match for the first time.

Defending champions and table-toppers Gujarat Titans would join both winning teams on four points with a victory for any team.
