FIFA World Cup 2022: 4-time champions Germany & Belgium now playing with the ultimatum

In the Qatar FIFA World Cup now the group stage is about to end and the race to qualify for the Round of 16 his now being intensified.

FIFA World Cup 2022: Now four important matches of the group stage will be played in the FIFA World Cup on Thursday i.e. today. In this Mahakumbh of football being played in Qatar, the excitement for the fans is going to increase further. Because now the tournament is moving fast towards its final stage. The fortunes of some teams were seen to be reversed while some have made spectacular comebacks.

These four matches to be held on Thursday will be of Group E and Group F teams. Group F has become the ‘Group of Death’ in the FIFA World Cup 2022. Croatia, the runners-up from the 2018 season of the tournament, have done well to get 4 points from 2 matches, while Morocco also occupy the second spot with 4 points. Belgium has only three points from two matches with one win and one loss. Fourth-ranked Canada has already been eliminated after not scoring a single point in the first two matches. In such a situation, saving your place in this group remains a big challenge. Both these matches will start at 8 and 8.30 pm Indian time.

Germany will have the last chance

To reach the last-16, Germany will now need luck along with the game. In fact, the four-time champion Germany team will take the field against Costa Rica in the Group-E match of the FIFA World Cup on Thursday. Germany will have to win at any cost to reach the knockout stage. Apart from this, he will have to pray for the victory of Spain against Japan in the second match of the group.

Tough competition in Group F

Significantly the group stage is about to end now and the race to qualify for the Round of 16 has become the call of the hour. There is a tough competition in Group F (Croatia, Morocco, Belgium and Canada). Because three teams have a good chance to go to the next round. So far Croatia is on top of this group and Canada is out of the tournament. And, in such a situation, the other two teams – Morocco and Belgium have good chances to qualify. These four teams will be seen in action on Thursday which will decide their fate further in the tournament.
