Did Bhaiya’s Post for Virat Kohli Garner More Instagram Followers for India Star Than Malaika Arora in 2 Days?

Virat Kohli has been at the forefront of discussions lately, showcasing impressive form in IPL 2024, including notching up a century. However, despite his remarkable performances, some critics have raised concerns about his strike-rate. Compounding matters, his team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), has faced a challenging start to the season, losing four out of five matches. Their recent defeat against Rajasthan Royals, featuring their former player Yuzvendra Chahal, further emphasized the team’s struggles.

Following the match, Chahal took to Instagram to express his emotions, posting a heartfelt note alongside a photo with Kohli. The post quickly garnered over 13 lakh likes within a few days. Furthermore, reports emerged claiming that Chahal gained over 10 million Instagram followers since the post, surpassing notable celebrities like Malaika Arora and Diljit Dosanjh.

In an exclusive interview with Star Sports on Cricket Live, former Australia cricketer Aaron Finch shared insights on RCB’s batting performance. He highlighted longstanding issues with the team’s bowling unit and emphasized the importance of addressing these concerns. Finch praised Kohli’s exceptional performance but noted the team’s struggle to maintain momentum, particularly in the face of bowling challenges.

Meanwhile, former Australian cricketer Michael Clarke weighed in on Kohli’s role in RCB’s batting lineup. Clarke commended Kohli’s contributions but pointed out shortcomings in the team’s overall strategy and decision-making. He questioned certain batting orders and emphasized the need for players to regain form and confidence to bolster RCB’s performance.

Overall, while Kohli’s individual brilliance shines through, RCB faces significant challenges in finding consistency and addressing underlying issues, particularly in their bowling department. As the IPL 2024 season progresses, the team will need to overcome these hurdles to turn their fortunes around and secure victories in the upcoming matches.
