Army Commander Trounces Chief Of Staff By 23 Runs In Friendly Cricket Match

Lucknow: Friendship cricket match was organized at Army Headquarters Central Command. In this, Army Commander 11 defeated the Chief of Staff by 23 runs. In this match, Brigadier RS Thakur scored a brilliant 24 runs. A 15-over friendly match was organized between the soldiers at Sports Galaxy Jaipuria Cricket Ground.

In this, the Chief of Staff won the toss and decided to field. Batting first in the 15-over match, Army Commander scored 125 runs losing six wickets. The Chief of Staff’s team could score only 102 runs and lost the match by 23 runs. The chief guest of this match, Lieutenant General N.S.Raja Subramani, distributed awards in various categories to the captains and players of both teams. Lieutenant General Mukesh Chadha COS was also present during the match.
