Adani Sportsline Academy trainee Harsha Deshpande clinched her maiden Under-14 Girls Singles title at the All India Ranking Championship Series (7) in Jaipur last week, marking a breakthrough moment in her young career.
The 12-year-old, a Grade VII student at Apollo International School, displayed consistent form throughout the tournament.
After receiving a first-round bye, she defeated Rajasthan’s Tejasvi Yadav (6-2, 6-1) and Gujarat’s Zia Thakker (6-2, 6-3) to move into the semifinals.
In a hard-fought clash, she edged past Rajasthan’s Khushvee Padiyar (6-0, 4-6, 7-5), before sealing the championship with a convincing 6-2, 6-1 win over Gujarat’s Naysa Solanki in the final.
Training at Adani Sportsline Tennis Academy since 2024, Harsha has benefitted from professional coaching and exposure to competitive events.
Earlier this month, she finished third at the SGFI District Tennis Tournament in Ahmedabad, earning a spot on Gujarat’s state team for the upcoming SGFI State Championship.
She also captured the U-14 Doubles gold at the All India Ranking Championship Series in Ahmedabad earlier this year.
Her maiden singles crown in Jaipur highlights both her growing potential and the academy’s efforts in shaping future sporting talent.
