Adani Group Champions Indian Athletes With #DeshkaGeetAtOlympics Campaign For Paris 2024

As the Indian contingent gears up for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, their principal sponsor, the Adani Group, has pledged unwavering support through the #DeshkaGeetAtOlympics campaign. This initiative celebrates the athletes who have dedicated years of rigorous training with the goal of winning and hearing the national anthem play in their honor.

The campaign, highlighted by an inspiring film, captures the relentless determination of Indian athletes and reignites patriotic fervor among the audience as India’s finest prepare to take center stage once more. The film showcases top sports talents as they train intensively, aiming to surpass the record seven-medal haul from the Tokyo Olympics and achieve the ultimate honor of hearing the national anthem at one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events.

The Adani Group is deeply committed to enhancing and developing India’s sporting ecosystem, fostering a sporting culture nationwide. Through its initiatives, the Group aims to nurture the next generation of sporting champions, supporting them in their journeys to represent India at events like the Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, and the Olympics.

Since 2016, the Adani Group has supported over 28 athletes across various sports, including boxing, wrestling, tennis, javelin throw, shooting, running, shotput, brisk walking, and archery. Notable beneficiaries include Commonwealth Games gold medalist wrestlers Ravi Kumar Dahiya and Deepak Punia, and boxer Amit Panghal. Dahiya and Punia also secured silver medals at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2023 Asian Games. The Group sponsored the Indian contingent at the Tokyo Olympics and served as official partners for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022 and Hangzhou Asian Games 2022.
