Telangana Deputy CM Presents Alarming State Finances: Total Debt Soars to Rs 6.7 Trillion

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday tabled a white paper on the state’s finances in the assembly. According to the white paper, the total debt of the state has gone up to Rs 6,71,757 crore from Rs 72,658 crore in 2014-15. According to the white paper, no tangible fiscal assets in proportion to the money spent were created in the past 10 years.
