Taiwan Presidential Election: China influencing voters’ decisions through TikTok

Taiwan is preparing for January 13, 2020, presidential election. People in Taiwan are worried that Beijing is influencing young Taiwanese voters’ decisions even as they prepare to cast their ballots. China is targeting young voter using the TikTok app. The report says that videos being shared on TikTok are aimed at propagating distrust in Taiwan’s government and military.
