Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has said that it does not oppose caste census, but clarified the census should be used for the progress of society. The organisation also said there should not be politics over it. In a fresh statement, released by the RSS’s publicity head Sunil Ambekar, the organisation stated that while carrying out the caste census, one should ensure that it does not create a rift.
