PM’s Initiative Leads to Direct Chennai-Jeddah Flight for Haj, Smriti Irani Seals Agreement in Saudi Arabia

Chairman of the Haj Association of India, A. Aboobucker says, “Thanks to the PM who took the initiative, we had a direct flight from Chennai to Jeddah. Sincere thanks from the Muslim community from Tamil Nadu. Further to that, Minority Affairs Minister Smriti Irani went to Saudi Arabia to sign the Haj Agreement. She was there in Jeddah, she also went to Madinah. She inspected the buildings where our Indian hajis are going to stay.”
