Kerala Govt Files Amended Petition, Seeks SC Guidance on Governor’s Bill Clearance

The Kerala government has filed an amended petition with the Supreme Court seeking directions for the Governor to clear pending bills immediately. In the amended petition, the state has sought the Supreme Court to lay guidelines on the conditions under which the Governor may reserve bills presented to him for the consideration of the President, withhold his assent, or return them to the state assembly.
