Indian-American US Congress members respond to secret ‘Kill Pannun Plot’ briefing, express concerns to Modi govt…

The Samosa Caucus, a group of five Indian-American lawmakers, has threatened to cause “significant damage to ties” if the problem surrounding the purported assassination attempt on Khalistani militant Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is not handled properly. We think that the relationship between the US and India has significantly improved the lives of both of our people. However, we fear that the indictment’s listed actions could seriously harm this important partnership if they are not properly addressed,” the five lawmakers stated following the Biden administration’s covert briefing on Indian national Nikhil Gupta’s indictment in the “kill Pannun” plot.
