Director Subhash Ghai Invited For Ram Mandir Consecration Ceremony; Here’s The Response

An invitation has been sent to Director Subhash Ghai to attend the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya’s grand opening ceremony. “Being part of this historic inauguration fills my heart with immense happiness. The construction of the Shri Ram Mandir is not just a cultural landmark but a testament to the rich heritage and spirituality that our nation embraces,” Subhash Ghai said.

Bollywood celebs on the guest list

On January 22, at noon, the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust has chosen to enthrone Ram Lalla at the Ram Temple’s sanctum-sanctorum. For the Indian people, Ayodhya—the birthplace of Lord Rama—has enormous spiritual, historical, and cultural significance.

Invitations were extended to a number of celebrities in addition to Subhash Ghai, including as actors Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, and Akshay Kumar; producers Mahaveer Jain; and renowned directors Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Rohit Shetty.

On invitation, celebrities from South India will also grace the occasion. Rishab Shetty, Dhanush, Mohanlal, and Chiranjeevi are on this list.

Ram Mandir “Pran Pratishtha”

As many actors were invited to the Ram Temple’s “Pran Pratishtha” on January 22, 2024, Acharya Satyendra Das, the Chief Priest of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple said, “It is a good thing; artists should come. Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, and many other artists have been invited by the Trust for ‘Pran Pratishtha’. PM Modi is also coming. All the artists who are coming will be welcomed in Ayodhya.”

Four thousand saints from every sect have been invited by the trust to the event. The official opening of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Starting on January 16, 2019, one week before to the major celebration, Vedic rituals will be performed for the Pran-Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of Ram Lalla, the child Lord Ram, in Ayodhya.

Who would be the priest to conduct ceremonies?

On January 22, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, a Vedic priest from Varanasi, would conduct the principal ceremonies of Ram Lalla’s consecration. The Amrit Mahautsav will be celebrated in Ayodhya from January 14 to January 22.

Additionally, there will be a 1008 Hundi Mahayagya, where thousands of devotees will receive food. In order to accommodate the thousands of pilgrims that are anticipated to arrive in the Uttar Pradesh temple town for the ceremonial consecration of the Ram Temple, several tent towns are being built in Ayodhya.

The Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust said that between 10,000 and 15,000 individuals will be catered for. To ensure a seamless and spiritually enlightening experience for all guests, local officials are preparing for the expected spike in visitors surrounding the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ event. They are in the process of putting strengthened security measures into place and arranging logistical arrangements.
