Book Release Event on Ram Mandir and National Heritage Unveils Untold Aspects, Promotes Unity and Dialogue

In a significant event at the Rang Bhawan Auditorium of Delhi Akashvani, leaders from diverse backgrounds came together to mark the release of the book “Ram Mandir, Rashtra Mandir – A Common Heritage: Some Unheard Things,” jointly written by Geeta Singh and Arif Khan Bharti, with the foreword by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Amplifying Voices of the Voiceless:

Indresh Kumar, chief patron of the Sangh and chief patron of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, emphasized that Ram is the voice for the voiceless, underscoring the importance of dialogue in dispute resolution. Stressing the need for dialogue, Indresh Kumar highlighted the unity showcased by people from across the country, reinforcing the idea that disputes can be resolved through collective efforts.

A Call for Harmony:

Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan spoke about the ambitious nature of humans and the importance of setting limits to avoid immorality. He asserted the need for Maryada Purushottam Ram as a guiding force in curbing unbridled ambitions. Khan highlighted the role of India’s Vedas, Puranas, and Ramayana in fostering global harmony, especially in conflict zones like Israel, Palestine, Russia, and Ukraine.

Unveiling a Common Heritage:

The book’s release was attended by dignitaries, including Alok Kumar, National President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, and Govind Dev Giri, Treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The event showcased unity through cultural programs, Ram Bhajans, and a grand welcome for Lord Rama, symbolizing the shared heritage of the nation.

Appeal for National Progress:

Indresh Kumar made an appeal for nationwide prayers on January 22, 2024, coinciding with the installation of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. He urged people of all religions to pray for harmony, emphasizing that progress should align with respective religious practices. The Muslim Rashtriya Manch plans to march to Ayodhya, symbolizing the belief that Ram is present in every particle.

Dispelling Misconceptions:

Alok Kumar addressed the importance of the book in dispelling misconceptions surrounding the Ram Janmabhoomi movement. He questioned whether the movement was solely against Muslims, citing historical figures like Mahmud of Ghazni. Chief patron Indresh Kumar stressed the unity and harmony inherent in the country’s secularism, rooted in Sanatan period and Hindu culture.

A Common Thread of Unity:

Reflecting on the significance of Ram, Ayodhya Treasurer Govind Dev Giri emphasized that Ram is a national figure who unites all communities and castes. The book, “Ram Mandir, Rashtra Mandir,” was praised for shedding light on unheard stories and contributing to a better understanding of the Sangh’s commitment to instilling nationalism in Muslim society.

Continued Relevance Beyond Borders:

The authors, Geeta Singh and Arif Khan Bharti, highlighted the book’s content, emphasizing its role in breaking myths and showcasing the Sangh’s commitment to fostering the spirit of nationalism. The book explores the deep-rooted influence of Lord Rama not only in India but across the Asian continents, demonstrating the continued relevance of Ramayana in various countries.
