Police personnel on the spot after the incident
Allahabad University: After the violence in Allahabad University on Monday, now the university administration has filed a case against the students. On the basis of Tahrir given to the police by the university administration, an FIR has been registered against eight students including former student leader Vivekanand Pathak. Apart from this, a case has also been registered against the students on behalf of the security personnel and the security guards on behalf of the students.
On Monday, students protested against the demand for fee hike and reinstatement of the student union in Allahabad University. During this, there was a fierce fight between the security personnel and the students. The students also accused the security guard of firing, while security guard Prabhakar Singh accused former student leader Vivekanand Pathak of slapping him. After which a large number of students gathered and did arson and vandalism in the university.
So far three cases have been registered in this matter. A case has been filed against the students on behalf of the university administration. However, apart from this, on behalf of the students, the security personnel have also filed a case against the students.
A case has been filed by the Allahabad University administration against former student leaders Vivekanand Pathak, Rahul Patel, Ajay Samrat, Abhishek Yadav, Navneet Singh, Harendra Yadav, Ayush Priyadarshi and Satyam Kushwaha. This FIR has been registered at Colonelganj police station under sections 147, 323, 336, 427, 435, 504 and 392 of IPC.
Along with this, a case has been filed against the students on behalf of security guard Prabhakar Singh. So on the other hand, in the case lodged by the students, a case has been registered against three named and 43 unknown security personnel including security personnel Prabhakar Singh.

At the same time, Police Commissioner Ramit Sharma, who reached the spot on the information of a fight between students and security guards, said that according to the former student, he had come for some work in the bank, after which he clashed with the college guards and students. A case is being registered on their complaint. The situation is under control and investigation will be done on the basis of whatever video evidence is received. Strict action will be taken against whoever is guilty.
