Sachin Tendulkar praises Subhman Gill
Defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) eliminated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 on Sunday, thanks to a match in which “Prince” Shubman Gill scored more runs than “King” Virat Kohli. Records were crushed and dreams were broken when Faf du Plessis’ RCB played out their last association game against Hardik Pandya’s GT at the M. Chinnaswamy Arena.
India opener Gill, regarded as the next big thing in international cricket, led GT to a historic victory over RCB, which confirmed Bangalore’s exit from the IPL playoff race. In addition to knocking RCB out of the IPL 2023, Gill’s masterful batting performance allowed Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians (MI) to secure a playoff spot in the current edition of the lucrative league.
In his congratulatory tweet for the Mumbai Paltans, batting legend Sachin Tendulkar gave GT star Gill a special mention as MI became the fourth team to enter the business end of the IPL 2023. @CameronGreen_ and @ShubmanGill batted well for @mipaltan. astonishing innings by @imVkohli too to score consecutive 100s. Each of them was unique and had their own methods. I’m thrilled that MI is in the playoffs. Mumbai, go!
Virender Sehwag likewise posted a significant tweet after GT pounded RCB in the last match of Tata IPL 2023. ” Virat Kohli’s seventh IPL hundred was nothing short of spectacular, but he did not receive much support from others today. Vijay Shankar provided Shubhman Gill with much-needed support after her spectacular performance. Congratulations to Mumbai for reaching the playoffs and Gujarat for their excellent victory. In his tweet, Sehwag stated, “RCB vs. GT.”
Taking to the microblogging website following RCB’s IPL exit, unbelievable Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh shared a unique directive for India opener Gill, whose game-dominating thump ensured that GT secured the best position in the IPL 2023 standings. “Congratulations, @ShubmanGill, @gujarat_titans, and @mumbaiindians! We’re waiting for the gedi now, Akash! GTvsRCB @IPL” added Yuvraj.
