IPL 2023

Match Preview: GT vs CSK From Playing XI To Pitch Report Know All The Details Of Qualifier 1 Here

Match preview: GT vs CSK- Gujarat Titans (GT), the defending champions, finished first in the IPL 2023 points standings after winning ten of their last 14 league games. On the other hand, the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) made a spectacular comeback in the league this time around, finishing second in the rankings after placing ninth the previous year. On May 23, both of these clubs will meet each other at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The victor of this match will go to the finals, while the losing team will play in the second qualifier in order to compete in the championship game.

Match preview: GT vs CSK

It’s interesting to note that during the competition’s existence, Chennai, a four-time champion, has never defeated GT. But because MS Dhoni is regarded as a master of this format, it will be fascinating to watch Dhoni’s strategy in the upcoming match. In the meantime, he should also be mindful of Shubman Gill, who, in the existing competition, managed to smash two consecutive centuries. Rashid Khan and Mohammed Shami are also in outstanding form with the ball. Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, and Shivam Dube will have to shoulder a lot of burden with the bat; therefore, CSK may find it challenging.

Pichh report at Chennai

With each game that goes by, the MA Chidambaram Stadium’s surface becomes slower. The toss is therefore very significant. The best option is to bat first, but GT has a really strong bowling attack that can handle any total, so they can also decide to bowl. On this surface, a good total will be anything above 170.
