However, after they both left the game, the remaining batters were unable to capitalize, and PBKS fell 15 runs short of the goal.

The previous match between CSK and the Kolkata Knight Riders ended in a loss. CSK was only able to score 144 runs in 20 overs while losing six wickets. CSK’s top scorer, Shivam Dube, amassed 48 runs off just 34 deliveries. KKR’s chase got off to a rough start when they dropped three wickets in the powerplay. However, the partnership of Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh enabled the team to complete the task in 18.3 overs with six wickets remaining. With 54 runs off of 43 pitches, Rinku was named Player of the Match.
