“DRS” Dhoni Review System Helps CSK To Regain 1st Position In The Points Table

In Sunday’s IPL 2023 match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens, the “Dhoni Review System” was once again on display. David Wiese was sent packing by MS Dhoni with a superb review on the third ball of the 18th over of KKR’s chase. A more slow ball from Tushar Deshpande hit Wiese on the cushion, yet the umpire was unconvinced by the allure. The reviews showed that the ball would have hit the stumps if Dhoni had chosen to go upstairs. However, MS Dhoni again proved with his DRS that he can change the game.

Rahane’s and Dube’s damage

At the end of the over in which Chakravarthy got rid of Conway, Dube scored two massive sixes. Rahane then went on a rampage and destroyed everyone in his path. The first victim was Umesh Yadav, who was hit for 22 runs in an over that read 6,6,4,1,4,1. Although his partner hit the final four, both Rahane and Dube were in turbo mode. They hammered the KKR bowlers, with Suyash Sharma being the only one to be partially spared. 85 runs were scored in 32 balls, with Rahane scoring 50 runs in 24 balls and Dube scoring 20.
